The air humidifier is a handy household electronic device that is used to maintain a constant humidity inside the home and to control the varying humidity which has several negative health effects to people living in that home. There are two types of air humidifier that can be used to address the problem of varying air humidity. The first type is the portable air humidifier. This type of air humidifier can resemble an electric fan inside an enclosure which is plug in an electric outlet and filled with water to operate. The portable air humidifier has different sizes ranging from as small as a toolbox to as large as an industrial fan. A portable air humidifier is cheaper than the other type but its scope is also smaller.

The other type of air humidifier is the fixed one which can be installed in the ventilation system of a home. This kind of air humidifier can adjust the air humidity of the whole house with just one setting in its configuration. This may be more expensive to install yet its wider scope makes buying more air humidifier less likely. The main difference between the two types is cost of installation along with its scope.
