When buying, selling or owning real estate, it is all about the paperwork, which ensures that you own the real estate. And all this paperwork has to be registered with the relevant Deeds Regitries Office in South Africa. But they don't put up 6 foot bill boards so you can find the deeds offices easily, so here are the contact details for the various South African Deeds Offices:

Chief Registrar of Deeds for South Africa

The offices of the Chief Registrar of Deeds for South Africa is in the Poyton Building, at the corner of Church and Bosman Streets, PRETORIA, 0002.
