Rent controlled bond?

Property Questions And Answers

Hi,

Iam in the processing of buying a house which I would like to rent out as I live overseas.

I have a question, how do I know if the bond is rent controlled, I'm a single buyer and got the bond from Nedbank.

Thank You

Grace.

Huh?!

I have to admit that I have no idea what your question means.

I know what rent control means. It is where a local or national government limits the increases in property rental for specific people or areas.

And I know what a bond is in South Africa. It is a loan secured by a mortgage bond over the title for the property in question.

But I have no idea how a bod can be rent controlled.

I may very well have misunderstood your question, but you will need to be a little clearer to get any comprehensible response from me. I do hope you'll clarify your question soon.
